Genuine 925 sterling silver

"925" means the metal is 92.5% pure silver; the remaining 7.5% is another metal, usually copper, which makes silver strong enough to wear every day. This is the international standard for sterling silver.

• Every Dubai Silver piece is stamped with the 925 mark (on very small pieces the stamp may be on the clasp or tag).
• Every order includes a certificate of authenticity.
• If an independent assay ever shows that a piece we sold is not 925 sterling silver, we refund it in full.

Plating and stones — always stated

• Rhodium plating gives extra brightness and slows tarnish. Gold-plated silver is sterling silver with a thin gold layer. Plating is named on every product page and wears gradually with use; it can be renewed.
• Cubic zirconia is a lab-created stone chosen for its sparkle; it is not a diamond. Any natural stone is named as such.
• Oxidised (darkened) finishes are intentional and part of the design.

6-month warranty

We cover manufacturing defects for 6 months from delivery — for example a clasp that fails, a stone that falls out of its setting under normal wear, or faulty soldering. We will repair the piece, replace it, or refund you if neither is possible.

Not covered: normal wear, scratches and dents, natural tarnish, plating wear, stretched or broken chains caused by pulling or snagging, loss, and damage from accidents, chemicals, or repairs made by others.

Metal sensitivities

Sterling silver is alloyed with copper. If you have a known metal allergy, check the product details or ask us before ordering.

Caring for your silver

• Put jewellery on last — after perfume, lotion and hairspray — and take it off before swimming, the gym, the shower or cleaning.
• Store each piece in its pouch or a closed box, away from humidity and sunlight; fasten chains so they do not tangle.
• Tarnish is natural and easy to remove: polish gently with a silver cloth. Avoid toothpaste and harsh chemicals, and never polish plated pieces hard.
